Sylvia Forges-Ryan, former editor of Frogpond, the journal of the Haiku Society of America, has won many prizes, including the R. H. Blyth Award and a Grand Prix Poetry Prize from the Museum for World Peace in Kyoto, Japan. She is coauthor of Take a Deep Breath: The Haiku Way to Inner Peace.
